World traveler and self-proclaimed 'bookworm', Jon has been involved in CrossFit for 9 years. A former U.S Soldier and veteran, keeping an active lifestyle has been part of his life since he was a small child running through the fields of Oklahoma with his brothers, wreaking havoc wherever they went. Football, baseball, and wrestling took up his time in high school, the oil field and training consumed his young adult years, but it was his 9 years in the U.S. Army National Guard that taught him the true value of fitness…longevity and survivability.

He loves coaching others and seeing the progress each athlete makes every time they step on the floor. His biggest enjoyment is helping his athletes understand the basics and building a solid foundation, that without it we’re just asking for everything else to crumble.

While Jon’s family sees him as the modern-day Superman, he spends most of his free time reading, learning new skills, improving upon his current skills, or hanging out with friends and enjoying life.
